Discover the Opti Side 500 sand filter from Poolex, a new product for 2024 designed by Poolstar to offer you impeccable water quality. Perfectly sized for maintaining pools with a treatable volume of up to 60 m³, this model (reference PF-OPT500S) ensures a very efficient maximum flow rate of 10.80 m³/h, complemented by a filtration surface of 0.22 m². Its design is based on a durable and recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tank, a design choice that guarantees exceptional resistance to high pressures and a long lifespan even in demanding aquatic environments. With a diameter of 500 mm, the tank can comfortably hold a load of 85 kg of sand or 70 kg of filter glass, while using an ideal grain size between 0.5 and 0.8 mm.

Ergonomics and ease of use are at the heart of the Opti series design. The filter is equipped with a laterally positioned 6-way valve, simplifying your operations, as well as an integrated pressure gauge allowing you to easily monitor the pressure. Maintenance operations, such as cleaning and replacing filter elements, are simple and quick, significantly reducing your system's downtime. Extremely versatile, the Opti Side 500 adapts easily to a wide variety of filtration pumps thanks to its standard 1.5-inch (50 mm) connections.

Its overall dimensions of 390 x 450 x 770 mm (AxBxC) have been carefully thought out to allow seamless integration into your plant room. A highly reliable piece of equipment, it withstands a maximum operating pressure of 2.0 bar (28 PSI) and efficiently treats water up to a maximum temperature of 40°C. Trusting this model means investing in peace of mind: the filter tank benefits from a solid 5-year warranty, while the valve is covered by a 2-year warranty (excluding seals, domes, and pressure gauge).
